This Privacy Policy explains how Wizewerx Ltd (company no. 06003824), trading as ContentCharge (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects and uses your personal data when you use ContentCharge at contentcharge.io (the “Service”). We are the data controller for that personal data.
Who we are

What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers, used to create and secure your account.
- Content and inputs — the website URLs, brand details, prompts, and content plans you submit so we can generate strategies and content for you.
- Billing data — subscription and purchase records. Card details are handled directly by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage and technical data — log data, device and browser information, and error diagnostics used to run, secure, and improve the Service.
How we use your data, and our lawful bases
- To provide the Service (generate strategies and content, manage your plans) — performance of a contract.
- To take payment for subscriptions and one-off purchases — performance of a contract.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the Service, including error monitoring — our legitimate interests in running a reliable, safe product.
- To send service and transactional emails (sign-in, receipts, generation-ready notices) — performance of a contract or legitimate interests.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
AI content generation
ContentCharge uses AI models to generate content strategies, posts, and images from the inputs you provide. Depending on the model selected for a given feature, your prompts and business context are either processed by our own self-hosted models or sent to a third-party AI provider — currently one of Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google — for the sole purpose of producing your output. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models, and these providers process your data only to return results to us. AI-generated output can contain errors or inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing it before you publish it.
Sharing your data — sub-processors
Most of ContentCharge runs on infrastructure we operate ourselves (including our application database, authentication, AI gateway, error monitoring, and mail servers), so your data stays within our own systems for those functions. We share personal data with external third parties only where we rely on them to run part of the Service:

We publish and schedule content to the social channels you connect (via our own self-hosted publishing service). When you do so, your content is sent onward to those external platforms — such as X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or Bluesky — under their own terms and privacy policies.
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the equivalent Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Billing records are retained for the period required by UK law. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability; and
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, email hello@contentcharge.io. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the Service working. Any non-essential analytics tags are loaded only where permitted and are consent-gated.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
